Shaan not a part of The Voice India anymore?
Now this piece of news could prove to be a rude shock to the Chand Sifarish singer. The 43-year old Shaan, who donned the hat of a judge in the first season of &TV's The Voice India, is unlikely to feature in the forthcoming one.

Sources close to the development have told SpotboyE, "Shaan is already a judge on The Voice India Kids, another &TV show. Endemol (producer) is looking out for a replacement who can step into his shoes. However, Shaan has yet not been told about this --- neither by Endemol nor &TV."

Buzz is, Vishal Dadlani or Salim Merchant may fill Shaan's slot.

However, this is  not the first time that  &TV has sacked a judge without informing the person in question. Neeti Mohan had come in place of Sunidhi Chauhan without the Ruki Ruki singer's knowledge, when Sunidhi asked for a hike in her fee (Sunidhi sees red as The Voice India makers replace her without her knowledge, June 18, 2016). Reportedly, the producers took Sunidhi's leave, promising her that they would revert at the earliest. The talented singer waited patiently for her phone to ring, convincing herself that such negotiations often take time. But the phone never rang!

In April 2015, &TV and Endemol India announced leading Bollywood singers Himesh Reshammiya, Mika, Shaan and Sunidhi Chauhan as the coaches and Karan Tacker as the host for the first season. Let's see if Himesh, Mika and Sunidhi make it to the last four this time; an official announcement is in the offing soon.

Sunidhi had then given an earful to  & TV that they should have had the basic courtesy to inform her about her exit. Let's see if Shaan loses his cool too.
